Chemtrails and a Pillar Sun Beam

[11/16/2003] On the way to Los Angeles from Big Bear mountain going down the "hill" I noticed chemtrails, short and long, being sprayed over the whole mountain with a pillar of sunlight single beaming up towards the sky. This is the first time I've noticed this optical effect, at least consciously, and wouldn't you know it was in the presence of a sky full of chemtrails. In fact every time I've been to Big Bear mountain in the past couple of years there were chemtrails being sprayed at low level intensity. Is this how THEY bounce messages over the mountain range without using satellites?
