Check out the craters that were on the full moon that took place on Friday the 13th in June of 2003. The moon photos were shot using a 5.0 Mega Pixel camera aimed right through the optics of a pair of binoculars and a 14 inch reflector telescope. It was amazing to look through the telescope and see moon craters and deep scrapes across the lunar surface. The picture on the right was the best I could get through the binoculars.
This is what the moon looked like through the 14 inch telescope.
